VIPC&S ACCEPTING ABSTRACTS NOW for the 4th
Annual “Excellence in Patient Safety Award”
VIPC&S will issue the 4th annual Excellence in Patient Safety Award,
to be presented during the VIPC&S Conference on Wednesday, May 21, 2008.
This award recognizes the oral presentation that best exemplifies the effective
application of patient safety principles in a clinical care environment. All
applicants will be invited to present their findings in a poster session at the
conference. The Patient Safety Award Selection Committee will select at
least two applicants to present their findings through a Stand
Up/PowerPoint presentation during an afternoon plenary session at the VIPC&S
Conference. We encourage applicants to submit abstracts of work that has been
completed within the last two years.
Please find attached additional information on the
award including abstract instructions and guidelines. Excellence in Patient
Safety Award abstracts and supporting documentation must be received by April
4, 2008. Please submit abstracts and supporting documentation to Lara
